Several people have done this, and it apparently works pretty well on the
street. You'll probably get some rubbing on the frame when turning. I'm not
sure how much this matters to you. However, for off-road driving, I think
you'll find that they'll limit your articulation and steering.
I have a set of 31x9.5 Swampers for my '95. Interco's sizes are just
approximations, as their supposed 9.5" wide tires are noticeably less wide
than a 235mm (9.5" is 241.3mm). These tires work pretty well, but I have
noticed a few clean spots on my frame from the lugs.
