Nooooo kidding...

My first car was a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS-6 (don't flame me)

Bought it from a teacher of mine at the time (girl) that hated the gas
mileage. Bought it for $400 in 1989... GAH!

Beat the snot out of it for a year an a half, and then sold it for $400.00
Frame tweaked, overheating, doors wouldn't open right cause of an accident,
set it on the main street by my house and didn't walk home before my mom
said 2 people had called. That should have been a clue I guess. If I had
only known.

I'd just be happy to have been able to hold onto the '69 SS camaro
convertible I bought in '78 when I first started driving. I got it for
$1800 and then worked several jobs to pay for the insurance at 16.

I'd had many cars/trucks I wish I could have kept.

  '66 Pontiac GTO
'67 Pontiac Lemans to name a few more.

I'll probably wind up with the Father-in-laws '28 model A that is in
pieces in his garage in Ohio. It was to be a retirement project and then
Macular Degeneration came along and he can't even make out faces anymore.
The project isn't going to happen. It'll probably end up being a project
for me to put it back together for my wife. She has fond memories of
meeting dear old Dad at the top of the street riding on the running board
to the house.

Nowadays somebody would see that and call child services..
