I would reconsider that idea of yours - the Revo Duelers are in every
way superior to those BFG's - that like of BFG is used more on trucks
and SUV's as an OEM tire for the manufacturers. Yeah its got a less
agressive tread, but you're going to give up a lot more for that highway
tread.

I went from a set of Micheline Cross Terrain tires (factory) on the
Explorer... those are a very good tire. I put them through their paces
and I was very happy with them. If you want to go with a more highway
friendly tire then I would recommend the Cross Terrain tires. They have
a street friendly tread pattern with LOTS of siping which is the key to
the grip has in all traction situations. Without the siping its just
your basic highway tire. Road noise was low, and the tread wear was
wonderful. I had about 39K miles on them, and could have driven them to
at least 55-60K. I replaced them due to having scuffed up side walls, a
slow leak in one, and had a hunk of rebar I picked up on the highway
take out the rear drivers. Rather than patch them I figured - new set.

I would keep the Revos as my first recommendation. 2nd I'd recommend the
Cross Terrains. Then I'd rank those Long Trails after the other two.

What size are these Revos anyway?
