I've got a Neo ION in my Jetta, I'm honestly not real impressed with it,
apparently this is entirely because I've got a 3rd gen iPod (the first
with the dock connector) and support for dock connector interfaces got
much better with subsquent iPods.
I just use a casette adaptor in my Dakota. I had an FM modulator for a
while but the cassette adaptor gave me slightly better fidelity. Though
after an additional three years, now, the cassette player is getting
tired, or my tape adaptor is getting tired, and it takes 6-10 insertions
of the tape to get it to actually accept it when it's cold. I think it's
the tape adaptor not spinning freely enough....
The best solution is an aftermarket head unit with real inputs, whether
it's RCAs on the back, a Kenwood with their sweet system or any random
unit with an 1/8" input on the front....
