OUCH!! Just reading about it hurts.
I just got home from a hammer swinging day with Habitat in the city. As
I get older I take a longer look at any job that requires climbing
especially now that I'm walking around on a hip that needs rebuilding. I
can't imagine having my 28 oz framer land on my head.

I hope your recovery isn't too unpleasant or too long. Speedy healing!

Last Sat AM...roofing the porch I just built...arms full of tools got to
the
top of the ladder & the bottom slid on the wet deck...took the express
down...bounced off a picnic table & landed on my chest...hammer landed
on my
head...a BFH...28 oz Estwing...outta work for gawd knows how long...6
weeks
to heal the c-bone...broke it into 4 pcs...
