OPENING OF 100-YEAR-OLD PIKE TIME CAPSULEJuly 15, 2006:As part of the
Zebulon Pike Bicentennial, the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum invites
the public to Antlers Park where officials will unearth a time capsule
originally buried during the Pike Centennial in 1906. The Colorado
Springs Conservatory and the Colorado Springs Choral will serenade the
crowd during the festivities as another time capsule is created and
buried.
