When I start the truck the brake light and abs light illuminate and stay lit
(I don't even have abs brakes). I start driving the truck and the
speedometer intermittently works (the tach works fine). Now here's the real
problem. When the speedometer is not working and I take my foot off the gas
for more than a few seconds the truck shuts off. Not a good feeling losing
your power steering and brakes. I can start the truck right up again and the
same series of events will happen. The truck is basically undrivable now.
Before I take it to the dealer any ideas what it could be? Thanks
