I thought you could tell if a CV Axle was shot by:
1. Coming to a full stop.
2. Putting it in 4X4.
3. Crank the wheels to way left (or right).
4. Accelerate...

The side that's weak will let you know by knocking or rapping...kinda like a

bad U-joint will
