NV 241OR transfer case in a Dakota.

Just an update to my thoughts of installing a NV 241OR transfer case
from a Jeep Rubicon in a Gen III Dakota/Durango in case anybody cares or
is interested.

Well after studying and measuring the truck up on the lift it is not
going to be possible to install a 4:1 transfer case out of a Jeep Rubicon
in an IFS dakota. Unless you extensively modify the crossmember and the
possibly the rear torsion bar mounts.

The slip yoke 'cone' of the stock xfer case goes above the crossmember
and then the driveshaft angles down at the rear past the crossmember. With
a fixed yoke a longer driveshaft would be required and it would hit
the crossmember.

  So much for big ideas...
