    Being in the car business now for about a year and a half; I find it
incredible how customers seem to flock to the guy that BS's his way right
through them; He makes a fortune telling people just what they want to hear;
he & a couple of others I've met since just disgust me. They are the reason
that people are so leary of going to a car dealership. We have a few of us
that are content with making a reasonable comission on each deal and just
hope the good word will spread enough to get us more repaet business.
It seems the worse a deal people get; the happier they are and more business
they send to deal with the ones that rip them in the first place.
    So many people talk of preferring to buy used so they don't take the
depreciation; yet they want to keep them long term. Used vehicles have much
more markup than new ones do. If your intentions are to keep the vehicle;
buy new, you know the complete history, and over the lift of the vehicle,
that first year depreciation won't matter near as much. IF you trade every
2 years, buy used, negotiate a major discount and sell your own trade to put
the money down. I usually make the same money on all the new cars & trucks
regardless of the deal; My objective is to simply move a new car; I'm not
worried about the deal. It's all about the volume. I just want to feel I'm
being fair enough to people that they'll have they're friends & family see
me for thier needs.
    So.. anyone down around AL, GA, or FL feel free to look me up; I'll do
what I can for you, new or used, but I'd just as soon sell new. But. what
ever you want.
