I'm fabing up a new front bumper. I just tack weld on the truck and remove it to do the heavy welding, Sounds like I'll
be OK if I remove wires from the negative terminal on the battery. I'll remember to keep the GND clamp near the point I'm welding at while it's on the truck.

I appriciate your input guys.
