He could pull this off. GM did not want him in control, DCX may want just
that. He is requesting that Daimler help pay existing healthcare and
retirement costs and the deal hinges on a reasonable UAW contract. IF
Chrysler can get a better deal on overhead than Ford and GM the latter two
are in trouble.
