Just for reference, I rode to Reno and back last
Wednesday. Round trip was 170 miles. I had filled up
the Bandit the day before so I had a few miles on it
when I got home. I ran it a few more miles yesterday
before I filled up the tank. I rode a total of 191.1
miles on 3.641 gallons of fuel at a cost of
3.199/gallon. Total cost was 11.65 at a mileage of
52.48 MPG. Yes its fun to ride and yes I got a kick
outta kinda flippin the bird to the gas companies. I
just checked my records and I haven't put gas in my
Dak since Feb 27 and I still have almost a half tank.

When I bought this bike in Sep of 04 it had less than
6000 miles on it. As of today I have over 23,000 miles
on it and I plan on riding the heck outta it this
summer. I can even take it to the grocery store, just
gotta strap on the bigger tank bag.

Ray

Some risk is necessary in life. Without risk, the new world wouldn't have been discovered, man wouldn't have landed on the moon and we wouldn't ride motorcycles.
