and/or the fluid level has been low (causing either excessive heat or wear
in the TQ Converter)...you definitely want to change it out. If they're not
going to add any labor on top of the seal work, i'd say go for it if you can
afford it.

my 99 4x4 ATX is leaking from the front. Trans shop found front seal bad
and
is advising me to change the torqe converter for another 250, saying these
things always go bad around 100k miles. Currently it works fine. Should I
change it?
