Spark plug wire life span

I'm currently running a set of MSD wires that have been on there for
almost 6 and 1/2 years, and over 63k miles. I know it's due for new
plugs, and probably a cap and rotor. It has been running pretty rough
lately, I'm hoping throwing some ignition parts at it will help.

Just wondering if I should plan on replacing the wires as long as I'm
doing everything else. I haven't closely inspected the wires yet.
Anything to look for other than making sure the insulation is in tact,
and checking the resistance? What should the resistance be, anyway?

Thanks.
