You can check them various ways, but personally I'd change them due to age
and mileage.

I'm currently running a set of MSD wires that have been on there for almost
6 and 1/2 years, and over 63k miles. I know it's due for new plugs, and
probably a cap and rotor. It has been running pretty rough lately, I'm
hoping throwing some ignition parts at it will help.

Just wondering if I should plan on replacing the wires as long as I'm doing
everything else. I haven't closely inspected the wires yet.
Anything to look for other than making sure the insulation is in tact, and
checking the resistance? What should the resistance be, anyway?
