You're right about it being a shame.

I drove it a few hours ago and it basically runs fine, i didnt see any body
damage but it might have frame damage which is why the state (FL) doesnt want
to issue a salvage/rebuilt title on it. Well, I have a 99 V6 that ive taken
extra good care of, and I bascially know my trucks story, from beginning to
end. Im not sure where that R/T has been. I cant believe how many people used
R/T's as daily work trucks?! seems weird....

My friend (whose going to be heading the swap) suggested having the rear-end,
suspension/springs, driveshaft, tranny, ect. moved to my truck with the V6
still in place in order to reduce downtime and possibly have some parts
replaced on the engine(heads, cam, etc.) for more "oomph". The engine/body of
the R/T has fewer miles than mine (56k vs my 65k)
