back to ball joints

My 99 4x4 5.2l w/ 60k miles has ball joints. I think it's the lower. I
understand DC extended the recall to 10 years and 100k miles, but beginning w/
2000. Is there any difference in parts on a 1999 vs a 2000? Does anyone know
if this recall has been applied to a 1999?
