Those are a "shorty" style header, very similar to the JBA headers
that I have on my '96. (In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the
deisgn was an exact copy of the JBA, made in China and shipped over a
thousand at a time in a shipping container.) This design no doubt
leaves something on the table as compared to a tri-y header, but this
style header is inexpensive and still an improvement over the log
manifolds. Regarding those e-bay headers in particular, I'm not sure
why they are calling them a 4-2-1 header, when the picture clearly
shows them to be a 4-1 style. A 4-2-1 header would be a tri-y style,
where 2 pairs of pipes join together into 2 pipes, then those 2
combine into one at the collector. The fact that they are made of
stainless is nice, though it does concern me that they do not list the
tubing gauge, that might be worth asking if you are thinking about
bidding on them.

It shouldn't obstruct the oil filter at all (or any more than the
stock system does anyway). Those are designed to bolt up to the stock
Y pipe, so I wouldn't expect them to interfere with the oil filter at
all, unless of course you customarily access the filter from the top
of the engine rather than from underneath.
