I bought some NGK V-Power spark plugs at my local
Advanced Auto parts store. They were not a stocked
item, but only took 2 days to get in.

NGK V-Power
ZFR6F-11G; Stock #6987

The 4 plugs on the driver's side of the motor were
very easy to access. The 4 plugs on the passenger side
were a little more hard to access, especially the
front plug, since the K&N intake tube runs directly
over the coil pack and the two hoses are also right
over the coil.

Anyways, my truck has 16,100 miles on it. The stock
Champions (RC12MCC4) were completely shot. The
electrode was almost gone and the gap was opened up to
about .045.

I used Permatex dielectric grease on the coil pack
boot and also on the end of the spark plug. Hopefully
the coil packs will pull out alot more easily next
plug change.

The truck now idles very, very nice and accelerates
very smooth. I will check gas mileage to see what
happens.
