RE: A/C issues, compressor works, 45PSI but little cold air

Checking the pressures with the compressor OFF doesn't really check much at
all. It needs to be running for the low and high side pressures to
stabilize and be able to read properly.

In the 80-85 degree temp, 20-30 on the low side and 150-200 on the high side
is the average.

Was the 55 just while the compressor was off, or with the engine off and
everything equalized?

For reference, my dak has (or had awhile ago) ~ 90 psi @ 82F with
the engine off. I think the engine was cold, too, but not sure. I
could certainly check again, if it will help.

Bernd probably has the proper numbers memorized, though!

Good one!

Was it at 45/55 before adding the 134? I really doubt you can get
much air in there unless there was a long term or gross leak, and
that would still only be <1/4th of the system if the 134 brought it
up to 55 psi.
