Thanks. What viscosity?
How about the second part of my question: "If a new filter/dryer arrives
with the ports open to the atmosphere (plugs have fallen off), is the
desiccant no good anymore (lets assume it been open since day 1)?"
Any thoughts?

Thanks again,
James

What kind of oil goes into a Sanden SD-709 out of a '93 retrofitted to
R-134a? Ester or PAG. If PAG, what viscosity? Is mineral oil the same as one
of these?
If a new filter/dryer arrives with the ports open to the atmosphere (plugs
have fallen off), is the desiccant no good anymore (lets assume it been open
since day 1)?

Thanks,
James
