Carburetor or Injector seals, air/fuel ratio (PCM programming on newer
vehicles), and rejetting (or injector swap) is the minimum. Then, there's
the older fuel pumps that may start to leak or fail with the ethanol fuels.
Is it possible, yes. Is it practical...not really.

Ok, forget the obvious question of why. "IF" you wanted to be able to
run e85 what is required? Is it possible to retrofit older vehicles
somehow to run it? I am thinking in terms of my old deuce and a half
that would run on damn near anything that burned.. How about a
motorcycle [or any motor, even a lawnmower or a generator]? Is it
possible? Is it even remotely practical?
