The updated program fixes that issue. But as with most diesels, letting
them idle below 1000rpm isn't good for extended periods - that's why there's
"raised idle" feature.

I had a guy come into work with a 2500 Ram with the new 6.7 Cummins and
said hes had trouble with that new soot filter. He said they do not
want the truck to idle for extended periods because it doesnt get hot
enough to cook up the soot in that filter and it plugs up. He said he
had problems with it in colder weather abd has had it in for service
once already but other than that, truck was wonderful he said
