Measuring the system when off doesn't tell anything (unless it's empty -
then again, I've seen systems with 80psi and a mixture of air/R134a -
leaking). You can jump the compressor clutch at the relay and run the
system - check your pressures that way.

I measured it on the low side but wouldn't the entire system equalize when
it's not running (90 psi on the low and high side)?
If there's voltage at the clutch harness then the clutch is toast, right?
I'll be checking the other things you mentioned later.
Thanks,
James

90psi is about right, but is that on the low or high side? If it's on the
high side, the compressor won't turn on. The blower motor is independent of
the actual A/C compressor. Check your fuse for the A/C clutch and relay for
the clutch as well (swap the starter relay and A/C clutch relay - they're
the same). Other than that...could be either system pressure, high-side
switch, cycling switch, broken wire, toasted clutch, or bad A/C control
head. Too many items that can cause this to narrow it down to one thing
without actually looking at the system.

My A\C just stopped working. The clutch won't engage so I'll check voltage
there. With the system not running, there's about 90 PSI in the system.
Does this sound right? I don't think it's not coming on due to lack of
charge. The blower works. Any suggestions as to where to check?
Thanks,
James
