several things:

(1) don't take a computer to italy. italians have a reputation with walking
away with things left in your room. i just got back from
rome/florence/venice, and locked my suitcase every time i left the room.

(2) as a laptop guy myself, i find them to be incredibly useful, but
incredibly limiting. a dual HD setup is pretty pointless on a laptop,
considering that the HD sizes are so small. right now, the biggest drive
you can find is a 160GB version, and running 2 of them (320GB) is hardly
worth the expense, when you can get a 3.5" HD on a desktop and be running
almost 1TB for the same or similar price. if you want a "desktop
replacement", buy a desktop. i use my laptop as a "desktop replacement"
because i don't do anything complex, other than work, storing my music and
surfing the internet. If i was heavily into gaming or design or things of
the sort, a desktop would be the way to go.

just my $.02
