I have a rear end out of a 95 Dak 4X4 that I'm trying to disassemble for
the Sure-grip center section and the 10" brakes. I re-built the 8-1/4" rear
in my 91 Dak a few years ago, so I have all the special tools for setting
it up....or so I thought. Anyhow, I pulled the cover off this rear and
drained the lube and was just about the pull the cross-shaft pin out when I
realized it's not a standard bolt head. I searched through all my tools, I
don't have anything that will fit this, it looks like an external Torx or a
12-point bolt head. Can anyone tell me what I need for this? I can't even
get a small pair of vice-grips in to turn this thing out.
