Make sure the spark at the coil is strong enough to fire the engine. I had
the same problem, saw a spark at the coil (and plugs) so I assumed the coil
was good. It wasn't. Replaced it and it ran fine.

More of the story includes to conclude with juice not making it out of the
distributor.
I dont know if the problem is a true creature because the owner may be
confused and told me something earlier about a rebuit on that.
The truck ran timing correct when running then stalled dead.
Not fuel problem, spark at the coil none to the plugs.
Sorry, wife and husband tell two versions.
I am very sorry I started this.
If this is all I got to go on
we will not be disapointed with the out come.
