You'll need to change the crank and cam triggers (crank trigger is on the
actual crankshaft). That's the difference in between the JTEC and NGC
4.7L's. Change over year is 2002.

Subject: DML: New 4.7L...WOW!
I'd really like to have the new 4.7 in my '01. I like
mine a lot,but the new one has almost 70 more
horsepower AND better mileage?? Anybody know what
would be involved with a swap? I assume it would bolt
up to my 45RFE,but I'm not sure about the wiring or
PCM. Please advise........
Thanks muchly!
