My 97 Dakota has 202,000 miles on it. It has been running pretty good, but
recently it lost most of its oil pressure after getting warm. If I kept the
rpms up above an idle it would maintain enough pressure to prevent rod
clatter. What do you think the odds are that I could just go with a new oil
pump and get a few more thousand miles out of it?
Thanks,
Ken
