Thanks for the responses!

Do you happen to have the model number for that amp? If it's inexpensive
enough, I might just replace it anyway. I replaced the radio with the one
out of the Caravan and it seems to be working well enough so far, but I'd
rather be safe than sorry.

I haven't been able to track down a factory amp for less than $500 - ie from
a dealership - so the aftermarket might just be the better bet.

#2. IIRC Sony makes a low profile amp that fits in the same space as the
stock amp, with slightly higher wattage, and a bit less $$.

#3 the head units may interchange, but if the Amp is your problem...
