LOL, good story...self...
I had both of my Edelbrocks started leaking oil, and they replaced them for
me, so I guess my rage subsided too.

Subject: DML: Edelbroke shocks

OK have IAS Shocks on all 4 corners they ride great, then again a soggy bag
of ketchup tater chips would ride better than the stock shocks. So today I
am under the truck changing the oil and look under my passenger LCA and
think to my self...

"Self that looks odd.......why yes, yes it does ..... almost looks like
something is missing........ why yes Self I think you hit it right on the
head, there no F'ing bushing in the lower eye of my shock!!!"

Next thing to pass through my mind was "Gee I wonder if the driver's side is
ok?" In short order the answer was no. After short session of cussing out
Edelbrock, to myself, I decide lets call and see if the lifetime warrantee
really is. After a long wait on the phone, rage levels increasing, I get to
talk with a nice someone in tech support and supposedly a new set of
bushings are on the way. Rage levels return to normal.

On the up side I now know why my truck had a ton of metal on metal noise
;-((

Jim
03 CC Dak, missing 2 pistons, 2 driven wheels, and 2 shock bushings.

PS did I mention that even with the 3/8" air gap in the front shocks it
still rider better than with the stock shocks.......
