If you are going out to take a photo, set the camera to the
absolute highest resolution and lowest compression possible. If
you've already got a pic, the lowest recommended resolution is around
200dpi at a print size of 11x8.5". Even 72dpi is fine though, as long
as the picture size is large enough.
If you've got some digital photos already, please don't
resample/resize/etc. them prior to sending them though, just send them
as-is. The less times they are resampled before being printed, the
better the quality will be. If you're not sure wether the
quality/resolution of a particular image is high enough to print well
on the calendar, feel free to send them anyway, and I can let you
know.
