Couldn't hurt, I guess, but on mine the anti-sieze worked fine and they came
right out.

If (and only if) the replacements aren't already coated. The ones I got
(Bosche) were, and said right in the directions that the installer was not to
add any more.
Not sure why they were so adamant about it. Maybe risk of getting some on the
sensor itself and screwing it up?
