Took my truck in for oil change and what not. Told the guy I heard a
humming from my front wheel. I figure the tire was bad or maybe it was
the bearing. It was the hub bearing. Now I'm not that knowledgable about
parts and car repair and such, but I never thought that a bearing would
cost me $320 plus labor. He said it was part of a whole assembly that
contained some ABS items. Is this what the manufacturers are doing to
make more money now? Include as many things into a module so that if one
goes bad, you have to replace everything? I payed 700$ to replace my fuel
pump because it was part of an entire assembly. Is it going to come to a
point when I need to change my tire that I have to replace the entire axel
and differential too? WTF! Sigh...
