I was thinking the same thing about the timing chain, I did the one in my
last Dakota at just over 100k miles and the one in my Mirada at about 150k.
But it is way too cold to work outside right now. Now that I've gotten the
water pump apart off, I have found that on this truck it's easier to get at
everything because of the cast aluminum accessory brackets, it all comes
off as a module. So once the weather gets a little nicer I will pull it
apart again and do the timing chain.

One question that I do have about the timing chain though, did the 92 V8's
come with the timing chain tensioner? I know the later V-6 engines got them.
