I rode a train only once.. Troop train from Ft. Campbell, Ky to
NYC.. Took 3 days.. Miserable trip. Was on my way to
Augsburg, Germany. March 1955. The boat ride was even
worse though. The N Atlantic is kinda rough in March, to say
the least..

I've learned.... That one should keep his
words both soft and tender, because
tomorrow he may have to eat them.
