That could happen if you didn't use Chrysler's special nerf bar
installation tool (Snap-On #KA-CH1N6 or equivalent). I'm afraid you
have ruined your truck. Save yourself years of trouble and just buy a
new one. (Donations of "ruined" trucks are gladly accepted at DML HQ.)
