Sounds like the old eBay resistor...don't bother. If you want better fuel
economy...check the following FIRST:

(1) Engine Tune (Cap/Rotor/Wires/Plugs/PCV/Air Filter/Battery State/Engine
State)
(2) Tire Inflation
(3) Alignment
(4) Proper Oil (5w20 works very well in all of the Dodge engines for a
slight fuel savings)
(5) Driving Style

>From there, a better flowing exhaust and cold air kit will help out as well.
Most "chips" require the use of a higher grade of fuel so the fuel savings
is negligible. Using the resistor in the IAT does help in the power
department but if it's not within a specific range, fuel economy will
suffer.

Subject: DML: Performance 'CHIP' on Ebay

Just curious if anyone knows of a REAL chip that helps any in the MPG area?

there is a guy selling a chip from "performanceengenering' for like $10
plus S&H, lots of the feedback say it's not a 'chip' just a resister to put
on air temp sensor or something.

In thease days of close to $4 GAL gas, I gotta look into anything to squeeze
out a few more MPG.
