Yes, the Banshee name does come from it's distinct demonic scream at WOT.

Allow me to explain what some of them do. Air boxes, filters, carbs,
boring, larger pistons, and pipes are I'm sure pretty familiar. One
difference on a two stroke is that the "Fatty Pipes" which are just
that, pretty fat, act as a sort of expansion chamber and are
specifically shaped such as to allow better flow, better expansion and
combustion, and higher compression. The boost bottle collects the
air/fuel mixture that is wasted back wash during normal throttle usage
and when when you really punch it, it cuts down on the brief lag the
Banshee experiences trying to get to the peak power band (about
5000-8500 rpm). The inline cooler is just a better radiator and the
impeller is just a fan (they don't come with fans stock). Reeds are
part of the carb. As for the shaved head, it increases compression and
low end power. It is about as modified as can be short of porting and
stroking which for the riding I do and the people I ride with would
make it difficult to manage.
