Well!! I finally got my Cruise working today..
Vehicle is a '95 ext cab V8 Auto loaded..

When it 1st started giving problems it would be in CC and
just fall out. Just like you had hit the brake or turned it off.
Sometimes it would reset - sometimes not. Finally quit
altogether..
I've been working on this D--- thing for 2 years or more in my
spare time. Finally broke down and bought a MOPAR service
manual and got time to decipher all the different pages of
info on checking out everything. It turned out to be a broken
wire in the steering column. About 2 inches from the
connector that plugs into the underside of the clockspring.
It was the Feed wire coming from the fuseblock(fuse 15 - 2A).
I got out my trusty soldering iron, cut the wire insulation @
the break, stripped the ends, slipped a piece of shrink tubing
on 1 end, twisted the wires together and soldered that sucker.
Took it out for a test drive and - VIOLA - it worked as it is
supposed to...

God I Love It When A Plan Comes Together!!

Life is good!!

If you are old, and not conservative, then you don't have a brain.
