I'm not sure what year they changed the inner tierod design. At some
point they went to a tierod that was threaded onto the end of a center
link, VS a more traditioanl tie rod that uses a stud through an eyelet.

The later design is a little more irritating to change, but 300 doesnt
seem *too* much to have a shop do it - the cost of the tierods, the
labor, plus alignment. It is something you can do yourself however -
you will want an alignment done by a shop anyway - usually will run
50-60 bucks for that.

The brake service would probably consist of spraying everythign down the
brake cleaner to remove dust and debris. Cleaning of the caliper slides
(bolts) and relube with grease. Not sure what the "adjustment" part
would be - because there is no adjustment. Disc brakes by design are
self adjusting. The piston in the caliper will move out more as the
pads wear.

Rear brakes would be serviced by cleaning with brake clean, greaseing
the backing plate contact points, and perhaps making sure the adjusters
were set properly and working.
