Bosch sensors including only the sensor and a wire tail, no connector. They
include a splicing thing, and directions. Cut to length, splice the OEM
connector to the new sensor.

If you look at one that's about 12" long, connector to sensor, the splice
thing goes about in the middle. So figure 6" off of one, 6" off the other.

Their splicing thing isn't a soldered connection. It's hard to describe.
Basically there are four individual rubber-grommeted twist lock splice
things, one for each wire. These four are then fitted in to a square plastic
thing with more rubber grommets to hold and support the splices. Once I get
them out, I can take pictures of this assembly if you're curious.

I'm not sure if this assembly would interfer with air intake via the
insulation or not. The insulation on the wire on one side of this thing is
sealed to the body of the splice, but isn't sealed from the other wire on the
other side. I can't imagine that they're sucking a lot of air through the
wire insulation, so maybe this is not much more of a restriction.

But any idea on which new one goes where? I'd like to get these done over the
holiday weekend.
