I hate all the electronics crap too - yes, there is a door module in each
door. Heck, Jeeps had that back in 1994.

There is a "door module"........ door modules, PCM modules, Body
Modules, trans modules... air bag modules... do they make a module with
a sensor in the seat that tells me when I need to change my underware?

I had the 4x4 module die on the Explorer... and couldnt shift into 4WD.
  Was replaced under warranty thankfully... I hate all that electronics
crap.
