My 1998 2.5 Liter was fitted with a new cat after DC was sued by the EPA.
There were a bunch of Jeeps and 4 cylinder Dakotas that had faulty catalytic
converters and OBD II computers. Even though it was WAY past warranty, they
did it. Actually, they did it twice.
