You can get away with less cost on the braking system and still be well
above stock performance.

On the relay...refresh my memory a bit (private email if you want to).

Since we're taking recommendations... my vote goes to Stainless Steel Brake
System's slotted rotor package. Comes with the matching pads (Hawk, I
believe), and provide a great improvement in stopping power. I forgot what
I paid.

Oh, and Bernd, I'm still looking for the part # for that relay I told you
about. It's been years, and I can't find the receipt.

I highly recommend the EBC rotors if you can find them. I have them on my
truck now, and they are by far the best rotor I've ever used, and I've been
through OEMs, Powersluts, cheap Ebay ones, and the stockers. The Baer
decelarotors are supposed to be very good quality as well, but I haven't
used them.

On one of my previous posts, I was right about the driver's side wheel
bearing, it was shot. Dealer charge was $283.00 cdn for the bearing. I
questioned them and they said since it was a 4x4 it was a special sealed
unit, (of course :-)

They also said that my upper and lower ball joints and both brake rotors
should be replaced soon. What do you guys think about $130.00CDN each for
the lower ball joints, $90.00CDN each for the upper ball joints (Mopar non
greaseable of course) ,and $95.00CDN each per rotor? They said the
originals couldn't be turned but they don't look that bad to me.

I think I will be going to NAPA tomorrow and price out the Moog ball joints
(anyone have any part numbers? ). Then to Lordco Auto Parts to price out
the Powerslot rotors (part #'s ? ) This is for my 97, CC, 318, 5 speed Dak.

Thanks for any feedback guys,

-Jay
