Andy: No I didn't stay at Jons sunday... I did leave at a respectable
time. Somewhere around 11 I think? Adam and JT rolled out about 8 am,
Don and Jim about 10, Mike shortly before I left... and Jim Knox and
Jason and Norah were packing up when I left.

I got to Josh's about 7 pm.. and unloaded the wheels - which I noticed
tonight while unloading the car that I didn't leave the center caps with
the wheels. Sorry Barry... I'll give you a call and get your address and
snail mail em to ya...

I called up my buddy Dan (who came out with me to the BBQ a couple years
ago) and ended up crashing at his place for the night. I didnt feel
like doing another 4 hours and getting in after midnight.

My new Civic has been under a critical eye... other than the BBQ
attendees who couldn't believe I bought one heh. While I love the
car... I am seriously thinking of not keeping it. The situation with
the 5 speed stick shift left me with lower back pain, leg fatigue
(cruise control didnt help - theres no where to rest my right leg) and a
general questioning of how smart the purchase was. I think the car is
not right for me. Going to see what my options are.. I know if I sell
I'll take a hit.

Fuel economy was excellent as expected... total drive distance this road
trip was 1560 miles... averaged about 35 MPG... havn't done all the
numbers on it yet. Anyway thats far more than I really wanted to get
into regarding to civic.

Many Thanks to Jon and the Steiger's for once again letting weird people
come and invade their home for a weekend LOL I had a great time as
usual, and as usual was very sad to see everyone leave one at a time on
sunday.

Andy: how did the Subi brakes do on the way home?

Jim Zito: Excellent to meet you finally sir! I enjoyed conversing with
you and was glad you could make it out! Next time around perhaps I'll
bring out my el-crapo Huffy 15 speed mountain bike.. and if we can get
andy to bring his, we can do a bike run instead!

Don, and Brittany (I hope thats spelled right!) Great to see you guys -
I apologize for the lack of paintball.. the brake job took far longer
than I anticipated - but the Co2 tank turning out to be empty was
something no one could have helped unfortunatly. As a die hard cubs fan
- I can only offer my time honored mantra... "theres always next year!"

With any luck I'll have Christine done by then (riiiight) If you are
interested in the truck bed we can work out something. I was thinking
maybe we could swap out the bed at Jons, you drive out with your old one
and drive back with the new one - assuming you wont mind weird looks
with a red/green truck - no pun intended LOL. There a junk yard
anywhere near you Jon that would take a cut up truck bed?
