I'll just go with the Dak's I've owned since I have no clue what happened with the S-10 I traded in on my first R/T.

Ordered my first R/T direct from factory the way I wanted it in 1999('99 model). Owned it for four years when I totaled it "showing off" for family. Was on a twisty road, hit some loose gravel trying to slow down for a corer and took out some railroad ties with the front end. Tried hard to not have it totaled, but they did it anyways. Bought it back from insurance for $2K and parted it out. I know where most of the parts went to. The cab is living well on my friends '00 R/T that he totaled and re-built using my cab. The bed and most of the frame is sitting in my driveway converted into a trailer. The short block and crank are in my current R/T, bored .030 with everything else being new and improved. Heads got trashed since they had the infamous cracks on the back two cylinders. The tranny was given to a "friend" on a payment plan agreement since he was having problems with his stock tranny. He gave me one payment, and then I never got anything else from him. Have no idea what ever happened to the
tranny and it wasn't worth my time/money to try to get it back. Most of the smaller parts are scattered around the country of different R/Ts. I got 120K miles out of it before I screwed up.
