Hello all,

Its been a while since I've been on here for me...I have a Dakota that I dunno whether to keep or sell. Its a Black 1998 Club Cab V8 5.2L with about 157K miles. I have so many problems, I dunno whether to fix and keep, fix and sell or just sell as is.
1. Driver side window off rail and plastic wheel on the cross that pushes window up is broken. Have the part which includes motor and the scissor deal but dunno how hard or easy to install.
2. Ac not working...Leaking somewhere...had it fixed several times.
3. Fuel gage error, causes erratic jumping of gas guage needle and the floater mechanism repair requires dropping the tank.
4. Either faulty wiring, or alternator, or alarm is too demanding but if left parked without starting for too long battery dies.
5. The awesome dodge paint has faded and crumbled...which I have seen on ALOT of dodge vehicles of that time period...cheap factory paint
6. Needs new tires.
7. Has body damage to driver door and front fender as well as to passenger side bed by the bumper.
8. Driver keyhole and window track on door damaged from theft attempt.
9. A loud banging sound is heard and felt occasionally during hard braking or take offs....perhaps loose wheels in front...only work done up front was replaced balljoints myself...maybe needs tightening.

Aside from all that its a V8 and gas isnt cheap. It was alot cheaper in 1998. So does anyone have any easy fix suggestions on any of these conditions...or have recommendations on what can be fixed to fetch a reasonable sale price. I have my eye on a 1954 Chevy someone has for 4995 and was thinking of maybe haggling a little.
