The 70mm F&B did work better in performnace (1/4 mile times) on an '05 4.7L.
Stock/modified 68-70mm TB's on the 4.7L's really need to have other engine
upgrades - just the TB upgrade alone (unless it's the old 65mm TB) isn't
going to gain you a whole lot at all.

In addition to what Bernd said, consider Superchips. The latest model is
internet upgradeable.
www.superchips.com/
www.ajusa.com/
www.autoanything.com/

Both AJUSA and AA run sales on these from time to time. Check often if
you're not in a hurry. If you sign up for newsletters from AutoAnything
you will occasionally get discount coupons.

I have used a Superchips programmer for my 2000 4.7 Grand Cherokee. While
I can't "feel" any performance difference, drag strip times with it
programmed for performance (91+ octane) are slightly better than stock. I
have no mods other than a K&N FIPK. My shift points are slightly higher
and firmer with the Superchips....in any mode. Mileage is not noticeably
better than stock in the economy (87 octane) mode.

My opinion.....not really worth the money on a stock engine. If you don't
race and can't FEEL the diff, what's the point? Glad I won mine and didn't
pay for it. :)

While we're on the subject of performance, unless you have a '99-'00 4.7,
don't bother with a larger throttle body either. While a 2001 model stock
TB was an improvement, a larger one than that showed me NOTHING in
performance or mileage. I sold it! (note: Bernd may disagree on this.
lol)
